How To

Step-by-Step Guide to Styling with the Chronos Curve Max:

1. Prep Your Hair
Before styling, always apply a heat protectant spray to dry hair to shield strands from heat damage. GHD’s Bodyguard Heat Protect Spray is a perfect match for your wand.

2. Section Your Hair
Divide your hair into manageable sections using clips. Start from the bottom layers and work your way up for even, long-lasting curls.

3. Heat the Wand
Turn on the GHD Chronos Curve Max Wand. It will heat up quickly to the optimal styling temperature of 185°C – hot enough to style, but gentle enough to protect hair integrity.

4. Wrap & Hold
Take a 1–1.5 inch section of hair, wrap it around the wide barrel, and hold for 5–8 seconds. For more defined curls, hold longer; for soft waves, hold for less time.

Top Tip:
For looser waves, wrap the hair flat against the wand. For more volume and movement, twist the section before wrapping.

5. Release & Cool
Gently slide the wand out and let the curl fall into your hand to cool for a few seconds – this helps set the shape.

6. Repeat & Style
Continue around your head, alternating curl direction for a more natural look. Once all sections are curled, allow the hair to cool completely before brushing out or styling with your fingers.
