How to Use the ghd Chronos Curve Grand Tong

Achieve long-lasting, voluminous curls with ease using the ghd Chronos Curve Grand Tong. Follow these simple steps for salon-worthy results at home or on the go:

Prep your hair
Begin with dry hair. For best results, apply a heat protection spray or curl hold product to shield your hair and enhance curl longevity.
Heat up the tong
Switch on your ghd Chronos Curve Grand Tong and allow it to heat up. The device will quickly reach the optimum 185°C styling temperature, evenly distributed across the 32mm barrel.
Section your hair
Divide your hair into manageable sections using clips. Smaller sections create more defined curls, while larger ones create softer waves.
Wrap and hold
Wrap a section of hair around the barrel, holding the tip near the cool-touch end for added safety and control. Hold for a few seconds to allow the curl to set.
Release and repeat
Gently release the curl and allow it to cool in your palm for a few seconds to help it hold its shape. Continue curling all sections of your hair.
Finish your style
Once finished, let the curls fully cool, then brush through with a wide-tooth comb or fingers for soft, glamorous waves. Set your style with a light mist of hairspray if desired.
